Brent and Kim Walton of QN4U are the 2005, 2006 & 2007 KCBS California State BBQ Champions and have been voted the California Team of the Year for the past three years – and were inducted into the California BBQ Association Hall of Fame this year. Brent is the newly elected President of the California BBQ Association and has extended an invitation and a challenge to all competition BBQ teams from across the nation to come to sunny California this spring to compete in the 2008 Kingsford Master Cut State BBQ Championships in Modesto, CA on May 10th.

You’ll find that you have thousands of curious festival goers watching you do that voodoo that you do with BBQ! Dress up your booth and show who you are - and we'll award a new prize for the best decorated booth this year - along with cash and trophies for all the KCBS categories: Reserve and Grand Champion and top five places. This years Grand Champion not only receives a $3,000.00 cash prize and a trip to Yosemite National Park – but will win the first Kingsford Master Cut KCBS California State Championship Belt – that will serve as a symbol of BBQ pride for years to come.
